I charge $100 per hour for my services. Sessions will be conducted in my office located at 924 7th Ave SE in Olympia. My office is located within the Olympia Center for DBT office building on the corner of Quince and 7th outside of downtown Olympia.
If you are paying out of pocket, we can discuss sliding fee options. The scale for individual therapy is $50-100 dollars per hour, depending on your financial circumstance. This is a negotiation which will be made in the first session. I do not ask for proof of financial hardship; you know your financial situation and what you can afford for therapy. Sliding fee scale for couples therapy is $80-100 per hour.
I can accept cash, check, Health Savings Accounts, PayPal (please click on the “P” logo on the bottom right of my website for a direct link to my PayPal page), and credit cards in session using Square Cash. Payment is due at time of service.
I am a fee for service therapist and practice as an out-of-network provider. What this means is you are responsible for payment each session and I can provide insured clients with a receipt which they can submit with a claims form to their insurance company for reimbursement. Check with your insurance company to determine what their rate of coverage is for out-of-network mental health services. This will help you understand what the full cost to you will be.
You can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask if you are covered by an “out-of-network Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.” I do not interact with insurance companies on the clients’ behalf except under extreme circumstances.
Your therapy sessions will also apply towards your health insurance deductibles. If you have a Health Savings Account, you may use those funds for your therapy.
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment via email or phone call, otherwise you will be charged full price for your session.
